Jamie is one of the preeminent estate planning attorneys in America and the senior partner in Hargrove Madden. Prior to starting the firm, he chaired the Estate & Trust practice for a 160-attorney law firm. He practiced as a CPA after law school and then began to focus exclusively in the area of estate, trusts and succession planning. Jamie is one of the first attorneys in Kentucky designated as an accredited estate planner by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils, is listed in The Best Lawyers in America® and has been selected as one of the Best Lawyers in Trust & Estates Law by his peers in The American Lawyer. He also received national recognition as a SuperLawyer®, a national listing of outstanding lawyers who have attained the highest degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Jamie has also received the top “AV” peer-rating from Martindale Hubbell®. His lifelong passion for innovation and willingness to embrace disruptive technology led to his founding NetLaw in 2012.
Chief Technology Officer
Alex graduated with honors from Washington & Lee School of Law in 2011. He practiced trusts and estates at Hargrove Madden LLP upon graduating and quickly found a passion for using technology to make attorneys, like himself, more efficient; and their services, more accessible. Alex designed and developed Hargrove Madden’s Online Practice Platform, which generated over a hundred thousand dollars revenue in a single quarter and garnered the American Bar Association’s 2012 eLawyering Award for innovative delivery of legal services only three months after going live. Levering that success, he worked closely with the founders to draft a business plan that helped secure $1 million in seed funding for NetLaw. Alex has since served as NetLaw’s Product Manager, and now Vice President of Product, alongside an innovative team of designers, programmers, data architects, and attorneys.
Vice President & Director of Legal Services
Charlsey has been an integral part of NetLaw from its beginnings in Hargrove Madden, having overseen the recruitment and development of the attorney network. She has worked nationally with professional advisors promoting estate planning services and has been a frequent speaker on estate planning for continuing legal education seminars. Charlsey began her career in estates and trusts with large law firms and developed expertise in marketing and advertising during her years with YUM! Brands.
Vice President & Director of User Experience
Scott joined NetLaw in March, 2014 and is committed to designing the way in which people interact with NetLaw solutions. Most recently, Scott served as a member of senior management and Creative Director of the Cincinnati Art Museum, where he spent 17 years developing both analog and digital user experience.
Greg is the Controller of NetLaw and has been an employee since February 2014. He is a graduate of the College of William and Mary with a BBA and is a Certified Public Accountant. Greg previously worked for two large electric utilities for thirty-three years, and most recently was Vice President and Controller of Dayton Power and Light.
Beverly is a paralegal with over 30 years’ experience, much of it in estate planning. She gained this experience in predecessor firms to Hargrove Madden. She has helped write code for several document preparation software packages, including HotDocs and now NetLaw’s document preparation tool. Beverly calls on both her legal background and her technical expertise to ensure that we provide quality documents.
Coming on board with NetLaw in January 2014 from the Hargrove Madden side of operations, Vickie brings over 20 years of healthcare and relationship management skills to the team.
Digital Marketing & Communications Specialist
Joseph joined the NetLaw team in August, 2016 as the Digital Marketing and Communications Specialist to keep up with the growing brand and digital outreach. From owning his own marketing firm, to working directly with a digital agency in downtown Louisville, Joe has a knowledge for advertising and knows what it takes to move brands forward. Before working in advertising, Joseph owned his own electronic buyback company which ran for 5 years and saw year over year growth until being bought out by a private party in Arizona.
Executive Assistant/Product Facilitator
Sherry joined the NetLaw team in August, 2016 as an Executive Assistant to the President and CEO of NetLaw. She coordinates the flow of product team tasks and helps them to align with common objectives and achieve goals. Sherry also assists with the Marketing and Development teams and serves as liason with customer support on problems/improvements. Sherry has over ten years of real estate experience in the commercial industry and twelve years of banking.
Vice President & Director of Customer Service
Blake joined the NetLaw team in December of 2014 to pilot the Customer Support Center. Having been a finance manager for a Honda automobile franchise, and with five years in the credit card processing industry, Blake came to NetLaw with over a decade of experience in the world of commission sales and client support. Before joining the “9 to 5″ workforce, Blake spent over 20 years traveling the United States as a touring musician.
Mary A. Harvey
Planning Support Associate
Mary joined the NetLaw team in July, 2015 as a Planning Support Associate to ensure that all NetLaw Agents and Clients receive quality and timely customer care. She brings with her 20 years of expertise in the Financial Services field with an emphasis in management and customer service. Before that, Mary spent 10 years in the advertising industry working with national corporations striving to make them more visible and profitable. She also spent a few years working in the accounting field as an assistant to a Certified Public Accountant.
Vice President & Director of Business Development
Mark joined Netlaw in May of 2015. He brings with him a vast knowledge of management and sales experience. For over 25 years Mark has worked in the financial services arena for some of the largest merchant services providers in the credit card processing world.
Mark started his career at Netlaw in the Customer Service Department but has moved up to his current role in our Business Development area. He works directly with groups on training of the Netlaw product.
Planning Support Associate
Vanessa joined NetLaw in July of 2015. Vanessa comes to us with a varied work background ranging from entertainment booking, medical coding and working on a computer helpdesk. She works in Customer Support Center assisting our agents and clients with any questions or issues they might have.
