CEO, President & Chairman
Jamie serves as CEO and President of NetLaw. Jamie is an estate planning attorney and continues to practice as a founding partner of Hargrove Madden LLP. Prior to starting the firm, he chaired the Estate & Trust practice for a 160-attorney law firm. He practiced as a CPA after law school and then began to focus exclusively in the area of estate, trusts and succession planning. Jamie is one of the first attorneys in Kentucky designated as an accredited estate planner by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils, has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America® and has been selected as one of the Best Lawyers in Trust & Estates Law by his peers in The American Lawyer. He also received national recognition as a SuperLawyer®, a national listing of outstanding lawyers who have attained the highest degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Jamie has also received the top “AV” peer-rating from Martindale Hubbell®. His lifelong passion for innovation and willingness to embrace disruptive technology led to he and his longtime law partner, Roger Madden, co-founding NetLaw in 2012.
Chief Technology Officer
Alex is a co-founder of NetLaw serving as its CTO and as a member of its board, alongside an innovative team of designers, programmers, data architects, and attorneys. Alex graduated with honors from Washington & Lee School of Law in 2011. He practiced trusts and estates at Hargrove Madden LLP upon graduating and quickly found a passion for using technology to make attorneys, like himself, more efficient; and their services, more accessible. Alex designed and developed Hargrove Madden’s Online Practice Platform, which generated over a hundred thousand dollars revenue in a single quarter and garnered the American Bar Association’s 2012 eLawyering Award for innovative delivery of legal services only three months after going live. Levering that success, he worked closely with the founders to draft a business plan that helped secure $1 million in seed funding for NetLaw.
Vice President of Group Services
Darrell is Vice Presidents Group Services at NetLaw with 25 years in mgmt. in insurance and group medical benefits. Darrell is an entrepreneur having successfully launched and sold numerous businesses. Darrell serves on several boards, including 100 Black Men of Louisville and the Peace Education Program. He also has worked closely with the Metro Health Dept. and United HealthCare nationally as an expert on Minority Health Equity issues.
Stan Craig is the author of ForeTalk: The 7 Critical Conversations, now in its third printing. ForeTalk is the only complete Christian guidebook to end-of- life planning, covering advance care planning, estate planning, legacy gifts, memorial services and more. Stan was a financial professional for 27 years at Merrill Lynch and retired as SVP, Director of the Office of Investment Performance. Stan has a BA from the University of Kentucky, 2 degrees from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and further education from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Stan recently joined the NetLaw team as a consultant to create a new platform for complete ACP, combined with NetLaw’s digital estate planning and personal family vault.
Vice President & Director of Customer Service
Mark joined Netlaw in May of 2015. He brings with him a vast knowledge of management and sales experience. For over 25 years Mark has worked in the financial services arena for some of the largest merchant services providers in the credit card processing world.
Director of HR and Administrations
Coming on board with NetLaw in January 2014 from the Hargrove Madden side of operations. Vickie brings over 20 years of healthcare and relationship management skills to our team. Before joining us, Vickie was instrumental in growing a startup company from a 2 state radius to a 10 states prior to being procured by a larger national entity. Her organization skills, faith and follow up are the assets she attributes to her success.
Greg is the Controller of NetLaw and has been an employee since February 2014. He is a graduate of the College of William and Mary with a BBA and is a Certified Public Accountant. Greg previously worked for two large electric utilities for thirty-three years, and most recently was Vice President and Controller of Dayton Power and Light.
Beverly has a strong background in estate planning. She gained this experience in predecessor firms to Hargrove Madden. She has developed templates for several document preparation software packages, including HotDocs and now NetLaw’s document preparation tool. Beverly calls on both her extensive work experience and her technical expertise to ensure that we provide quality documents.
Executive Assistant/Product Facilitator
Sherry joined the NetLaw team in August, 2016 as an Executive Assistant to the President and CEO of NetLaw. She coordinates the flow of product team tasks and helps them to align with common objectives and achieve goals. Sherry also assists with the Marketing and Development teams and serves as liason with customer support on problems/improvements. Sherry has over ten years of real estate experience in the commercial industry and twelve years of banking.
Mary A. Harvey
Planning Support Associate
Mary joined the NetLaw team in July, 2015 as a Planning Support Associate to ensure that all NetLaw Agents and Clients receive quality and timely customer care. She brings with her 20 years of expertise in the Financial Services field with an emphasis in management and customer service. Before that, Mary spent 10 years in the advertising industry working with national corporations striving to make them more visible and profitable. She also spent a few years working in the accounting field as an assistant to a Certified Public Accountant.
Planning Support Associate
Vanessa joined NetLaw in July of 2015. Vanessa comes to us with a varied work background ranging from entertainment booking, medical coding and working on a computer helpdesk. She works in Customer Support Center assisting our agents and clients with any questions or issues they might have.
