Announcing an Upcoming Will/Planned Giving Campaign
In recognition of National Estate Planning Awareness Week (October 17-23, 2017), NetLaw, a leading-edge online estate planning company with an American Bar Association (ABA) award-winning platform, will be announcing a campaign with one of the largest African American churches in the Northeast to provide the church’s members with millions of dollars’ worth of it’s essential estate planning package at no cost.
According to a 2016 Gallup poll, approximately 56% of Americans do not have a Will, which can place their estates – no matter what the size – in the hands of the government. Among non-white Americans, the number of those without a Will is much higher, at 72%. NetLaw hopes that this project will raise awareness of this disparity while helping the thousands of members at the church, ensuring their estates are handled according to their wishes.
NetLaw will be announcing the dates for the charitable campaign next week and is planning to hold a kick-off event at the church equipped with dozens of computers for members to complete their plans, printers to print them, and notaries to execute them. All the campaign details will be announced on October 30, 2017. Please check our website for more information then.
